ChatGPT now able to send, read iMessages on Mac computers

(CNN)– Attention Mac users there’s a new feature that allows Chat GPT to search, read and send iMessages for you.

Open Ai says a new plug-in gives Chat GPT more autonomy.

The company says, for example users can ask the chatbot to reply to contacts, suggest follow-up responses to unread texts and detect spam.

By default the chatbot can send text messages once a user approves them.

The new plug-in does allow a user to toggle settings to approve all texts drafted by the chatbot.
