AAA: High costs for Labor Day travel
(CNN)– If you’re closing-out Summer with a Labor Day getaway be prepared for higher costs and extra traffic.
Traffic is expected to peak the Thursday and Friday into the holiday weekend.
According to AAA, domestic flights to popular destinations are up nearly 20% from last year, and hotel prices are up nearly 10%.
AAA booking data shows Seattle, Orlando, Boston, Denver and New York are the top domestic destinations.
Rome, Vancouver, and London are the most popular choices internationally.
