Selena Gomez moves to dismiss fraud lawsuit

(CNN)– Selena Gomez is asking a judge to dismiss her from a fraud lawsuit involving her mental health startup.

Investors who put nearly $1.2 million into Wondermind Global in 2022 accuse the actress and her business partners of fraud and breach of contract.

They claim Gomez misrepresented how involved she would be in marketing and publicity.

But Gomez’s attorney calls the claims “meritless” and says she never managed the company.
