Baby surrendered under Daniel’s Law in Lexington Co.
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Officials at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington County accepted an infant safely surrendered under Daniel’s Law, says DSS.
The baby was surrendered on her birthdate Friday, August 28.
Under the Safe Haven for Abandoned Babies Act, a medical evaluation was completed, and the infant has been placed in a licensed DSS foster home, says DSS.
A Permanency Planning Hearing and Termination of Parental Rights Hearing will be held on October 14 at 9:30 a.m. at the Lexington County Family Court.
