Columbia firefighters stop vehicle fire at car dealership

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Third shift crews with the CRFD stopped a vehicle fire that spread a lot of smoke through a car dealership on Two Notch Road, says CRFD.

Firefighters were dispatched to the dealership shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Weds, September 2.

And on arrival Engine 32 found smoke coming through a door on one end of the service center, says Cola Fire.

The crew located the vehicle and the fire was extinguished.

Workers and customers at the dealership during the time of the fire were able to evacuate.

Two people were treated at the scene by Richland County EMS and one of them was taken for their injuries.
