Labor Day holiday travel peaks Thursday
(CNN)– If you’re hitting the road this holiday weekend, get ready to share the road.
AAA forecasts Thursday, Sept.3, will be the biggest travel day of the holiday weekend with peak travel times between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Labor Day weekend travelers should be prepared to pay more for gas this weekend than they did last year.
As of today, AAA reports the national average is $4.14 per gallon.
Here at home it’s $3.76 a gallon.
Domestic air travelers will pay more as well with prices up about 2% from last year.
