More than 80 employers to take part in upcoming Capital City Career Expo

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — If you are on the hunt for a new job, you might want to check out the Capital City Career Expo happening at Dutch Square Center, from 10 a.m.–1p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026.
The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) and SC Works is organizing the expo, which will include more than 80 employers.
In addition to several state agencies and law enforcement departments, companies like Cooperative Health, Dominion Energy, Envision Food Services, Giti Tire Manufacturing and The Ritedose Corporation will be taking part.
Attendees are encouraged to dress for success and bring their resumes. The SC Works Career Coach, a mobile center for job seekers, will be onsite to help people with resume printing.
According to DEW, nearly 1,000 people attended last year’s expo.
Dutch Square Center is located at 421 Bush River Rd., Columbia.
