Amazon pauses operations with 21 Air after Miami plane crash
(CNN)– Amazon says it has suspended its operations with 21 air.
That’s the operator of a cargo plane that crashed and killed five people last weekend.
The online retailer says it made the decision after reviewing “surrounding circumstances.”
Preliminary investigation findings are raising questions about the Amazon-branded plane’s speed when it overshot a runway in Miami.
The National Transportation Safety Board also is looking at how the flight crew handled the landing.
That said, the cause of the crash remains unclear.
