Flags to be at half-staff Friday

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– In honor of POW/MIA Recognition Day on Friday, Sept. 18, here in South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster has ordered flags atop state and local public buildings be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset.

The day honors former American prisoners of war and also remembers those still missing in action from all U.S. conflicts.
