Free microchips for pit-bulls and pit-mixes

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Officials with Pawmetto Lifeline say pit-bulls are overwhelming area shelters and being euthanized at an alarming rate.

To help prevent these dogs from running away from their owners and ending up in shelters, Pawmetto Lifeline is offering free microchips for pit-bulls and pit-mixes in Richland and Lexington counties.
