Driver killed after striking several trees in SC-34 wreck Saturday

FAIRFIELD CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Highway Patrol says a driver is dead following a collision early Saturday morning.

It happened at SC Highway 34 near 99 Road at 3:14 a.m.

According to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt, a 2005 Chevy Tahoe travelling north went off the left side of the roadway and struck several trees.

The driver died on scene from their injuries.

The Fairfield County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity as of late.

Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
