Orangeburg County Co. releases identity of person dead after automobile accident

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County Coroner Sean Fogle is releasing the identity of the person who was fatally wounded in a Saturday automobile accident, says the coroner’s office.
The accident happened on Saturday, September 26, at the intersection of Five Chop Road and Old Number Six Highway in Santee.
Coroner Fogle identified the person as Frank Rivers, III, 22, of St. George, South Carolina.
Rivers was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Coroner Fogle, he died due to blunt force injuries sustained during the collision.
The manner of his death has been ruled as an accident.
