Ai may force 11 million workers into new careers by 2035

(CNN)– Millions of Americans could be forced to change careers over the next decade because of Ai.

A new McKinsey Global Institute report estimates 11 million workers might have to switch occupations by 2035.

That’s about six-and-a-half percent of the current labor force.

The report predicts Ai could actually create more jobs than it kills over the next nine years with more jobs likely available in 2035 than today (2026).

But the researchers say a “workforce transformation” will be necessary.
