Disney to cut hundreds more jobs

(CNN)– Disney continues to cut jobs as it streamlines operations to cut costs.

Multiple media outlets reported that Tuesday, September 29, hundreds of corporate employees were let go.

The cuts came mostly in human resources and IT.

It comes as no surprise.

In April, Disney eliminated roughly 1000 jobs, and new CEO Josh D’Amaro later warned more layoffs were ahead.

Several hundred more people were let go in July.

In August, longtime executives were offered early retirement packages.
