Judge approves $177 million AT&T settlement
(CNN)– Millions of AT&T customers may be eligible for cash payments following a class-action settlement over two data breaches.
A federal judge has granted final approval to AT&T’s $177 million settlement involving breaches that exposed customers’ personal information.
Affected customers could receive up to $7500, if they can document financial losses tied to both incidents.
Most eligible customers are expected to qualify for estimated smaller payments ranging from $6.50 to $40 dollars.
AT&T denies any wrongdoing.
