Richland County deputies arrest woman after Thursday morning stabbing

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies arrested a woman after a stabbing Thursday morning, says RCSD.

Authorities say they responded to Parklane Road where they found a man stabbed in the upper body.

According to investigators, one of the women was being held against her will by Gelanda Gailliard and the man who the victim stabbed out of self-defense.

Deputies say that man remains in critical condition.

Gailliard faces kidnapping and assault charges and was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
