SCDOT to conduct temporary road closure on Fairmont Road

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SCDOT will temporarily close a portion of Fairmont Road in Richland County beginning Friday, October 16, say transportation officials.

The closure of Fairmont Road between Leesburg Road and Elmtree Road will begin October 16 at 6 p.m. and end Monday, October 19, by 6 a.m., pending any weather delays.

The closure will allow SCDOT crews to realign Fairmont Road with Leesburg Road to improve safety at the intersection, according to SCDOT.
