New food to make appearance at 2026 SC State Fair

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The fair is returning to the Midlands this month, and along with the return is new food items.

This year the fair is also having affordable food options.

New to the fair this year is Tanghulu which is a sugar-coated fruit, pickle barrel sirloin tips, hot blue taki fries, key lime crunch funnel cake, strawberry ‘n cream lemonade, fried Dubai chocolate truffle on a stick, deep-fried birria taco, reese’s donut burger, and much more.

The $5 menu option items will be red candy apple or large popcorn, corn dog, breadsticks, sweet potato, and more.

There is also a drink bundle of 2 for $6 20 oz Aquafina, and 2 for $8 20 oz Pepsi & Gatorade products.
