Apple creates new gadget for smart home market
(CNN)– Apple is hoping to make a splash in the smart home market.
The company announced ‘Home View’ Tuesday, October 13.
It’s like a smart speaker with a screen that is also connected to Siri Ai.
The device will come in two models: one that sits on a table, and another that mounts on a wall.
Home View has a $299 price tag and will be available next month.
The company has been selling home pod smart speakers since 2017, but that offering has failed to erode Amazon and Google’s dominance in the space.
