Campaigns ramping up in SC ahead of elections

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– President Trump is expected to participate in a tele-rally for Republican Senator Darline Graham Thursday night (October 15) at 6 p.m.

The race has turned out to be surprisingly competitive against Democratic challenger Dr. Annie Andrews.

A tele-rally is a virtual event that happens over the phone.

Trump started holding them during the covid-19 pandemic, but they also come in handy for times like this when he has a busy travel schedule.

He is also expected to appear in South Carolina in-person some time before election day for a rally to support Graham.

And Graham’s opponent, Dr. Annie Andrews will be holding a “Keeping the Faith” rally ahead of early voting.

Her campaign states that the event will take place at 5:30 p.m. Friday evening (October 16) in Columbia and will feature Senator Ralphael Warnock and Gubernatorial Candidate Jermaine Johnson.

The location has not yet been released.
