Local Living: Italian Festival, Boo at the Zoo, State fair

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, Villa Tronco’s Columbia Italian Festival is hitting the Midlands Saturday, October 17.

It’s from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Finlay Park.

You can enjoy authentic Italian food, live entertainment, Ferrari displays, grape stomping and more.

It’s free to attend.

Get ready for a scary good time at Riverbanks’ Boo at the Zoo.

It starts Friday night, October 16, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and runs through October 30.

There will be trick-or-treating, magic shows, live music, and much more.

It is the first full weekend of the state fair.

There’s lots to do on the midway, and of course let’s not forget the food.

You can try a new dole whip stand, or Wisconsin bacon cheese curds.

The fair runs through next Sunday, October 25.
