Lexington man sentenced to federal prison for possession of child sexual abuse material
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– A Lexington man was sentenced to nearly seven years in federal prison after pleading guilty to possession of child sexual abuse material, says the DOJ.
Investigators say Timothy Stedman Sloan, 61, of Lexington, possessed over 100 images and/or videos of child sexual abuse material, including images of toddlers and prepubescent minors.
Also, investigators say Sloan joined social media groups where he would discuss grooming and sexually abusing of children.
