Nursing assistant arrested, charged with exploitation of a vulnerable adult

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A nursing assistant has been arrested and charged with exploitation of a vulnerable adult in Sumter County.

Deputies say 41-year-old Bonnie Holeman allegedly took money from a resident at a nursing care facility.

Investigators say she pressured the victim by asking them for money repeatedly.

Holeman also ignored requests from the victim to pay them back.

She was taken to the Sumter County Detention Center where she was later released on bond.
