Fire museum celebrates anniversary with bike rodeo
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — A bike rodeo and safety day is being held to mark the fifth anniversary of the North Charleston and American LaFrance Fire Museum and Educational Center.
During Saturday’s celebration, youngsters will receive new bike helmets and can play on a free jump castle and climb a climbing wall. Children can get a free bike tune up and then ride through an obstacle course. There are over 30 vendors and admission is free to the museum.
The museum opened its doors in April 2007 and has since hosted more than 300,000 visitors.
