2 killed in Spartanburg County motorcycle crash

CHESNEE, S.C. (AP) — Authorities are investigating a crash in Spartanburg County that left two people dead.

Authorities say the crash happened at around 1:45 p.m. on Sunday afternoon when a minivan crossed the center line and struck a motorcycle head-on near Chesnee.

Both people on the motorcycle died at the scene. They were wearing helmets. Their names have not been released.

Authorities say 37-year-old Candace Beheler of Rutherfordton, N.C., was driving the minivan and was not injured.
