Man shot to death at Berkeley County club

CROSS, S.C. (AP) — A man has been shot to death at a nightclub in the Cross area of Berkeley County.

Sheriff’s spokesman Dan Moon says the shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

The coroner’s office says the victim was 30-year-old Kiron Jenkins of Pineville.

Witnesses told deputies that Jenkins had an altercation with another person before he was shot.

Deputies have not identified a suspect.
