SC congressman sets economic town hall meeting

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — First District Rep. Tim Scott wants to hear what his constituents in South Carolina think about the economy.

Scott is holding a town hall meeting Wednesday in North Charleston. Topics include the challenges facing the economy and the need for job creation.

He is also scheduled to discuss the steps House Republicans have taken and what’s ahead for the rest of the session. Scott will also take questions from the audience.
