Husband, wife found dead in Darlington County

DARLINGTON, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say a husband and wife have both been shot to death outside a Darlington County home.

Coroner Todd Hardee said Alma Stronecypher was found dead inside the house around 1:15 p.m. Monday, while her husband, Oliver, was found shot in the yard. He died a short time later at the hospital.

Deputies say they are investigating the shooting and have not determined exactly what happened.

Authorities say autopsies will be performed on both bodies Tuesday.
