Fasionistas Take Columbia by Storm

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C.–, You might see images of New york City or even Milan when you think of fashion week, but soon that may change. Director, Alicia Zeigler is bringing a 5 day, 5 night fashion extravaganza to the city changing the way people see fashion and who wears it best. Dozens who attended Tuesday night’s ” Beautiful People” event at the Tapp’s Art Center say there is definitely a fashion movement taking place in Columbia and it’s time it was recognized. The event will give designers a chance to showcase the latest trends in everything from clothing and jewelry to make-up and hair. The director says her hope is to create the same type of fashion scene that has become a popular and nationally known event in places like Charleston.
