Lexington man accused of killing younger brother

LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) — Authorities say a 37-year-old man stabbed his younger brother to death after a fight in his Lexington home.

Lexington County deputies said Thomas Warren was arrested just after his 28-year-old brother Tommy Warren Jr. was found dead on the front porch around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Investigators say the brothers had a long-running dispute, and the younger brother did not have a permanent address.

The coroner’s office says the victim was stabbed several times in the chest and died from blood loss after one of the blows struck his heart. Deputies say a large bloody knife was found on a bedroom table.

Thomas Warren is being held in jail awaiting a bond hearing. It wasn’t clear if he had an attorney.
