Police Catch 3 Armed Robbery Suspects

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO) – Sumter Police say a gunshot to the pelvis and a wrecked getaway car were the downfalls of three armed suspects. The trio are in custody after robbing Sumter Financial Services Monday morning. Officers say an employee fired at one of the suspects as they were fleeing the scene. That man ended up at Clarendon Memorial Hospital. The other two lost control of their car during a chase with police. Their names have not been released.
