Haley to campaign for Mitt Romney in Michigan

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Gov. Nikki Haley is spending the day in Michigan at campaign-related events for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

The South Carolina governor is slated to participate Tuesday in grand opening ceremonies for Romney campaign offices in Ann Arbor and Lansing.

She is also taking part in a business round table discussion for Romney’s campaign.

Haley endorsed Romney before South Carolina’s presidential primary in January and has campaigned for him both in and outside the state.

The first-term governor has said that she has not spoken with anyone with Romney’s campaign about becoming his vice presidential running mate.
