4 arrested in death of teen outside Charleston bar
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Police have arrested four people in the shooting death of a 17-year-old outside a Charleston nightclub.
Marley Lion graduated last spring from the Academic Magnet High School in North Charleston. Police made a sweep Monday of the Ardmore neighborhood of Charleston where the victim was killed.
On Tuesday, police announced the arrests of 30-year-old Ryan Deleston, 27-year-old Bryan Rivers and 32-year-old Julius Brown. The three are charged with murder and other counts. Authorities also said 27-year-old George Brown is charged with accessory after the fact of murder.
Authorities said the victim was sleeping in his SUV when there was a robbery attempt. Later, a gunman returned and shot him.
It was not clear if the defendants had attorneys.
