West Nile Virus Sees Sharp Spike
(WOLO) Columbia, S.C. — West Nile Virus is back with a vengeance. Health officials say the disease which is spread through infected mosquitoes has led to at least 8- percent of the infections that have been reported in Mississippi. While Houston, Texas reported their first death Friday from the virus. So Far more than 2 hundred cases of West Nile have been reported throughout the country. Officials say they’re unsure what is causing the spike in cases.
