(WOLO) — The last recognizable piece of college baseball’s famous stadium is no longer. Wednesday morning, the Rosenblatt Stadium press box in Omaha, Nebraska was blown up. USC won the last College World Series at the 64-year-old stadium in 2010. Former Gamecocks reacted on Twitter to seeing the old Omaha stadium erased. “Sad day. This place changed the life of my teammates and I.” — Whit Merrifield “Pour one out for such sacred ground.” — Michael Roth “Sad to see. Thankful I had the opportunity to play there.” — Adam Matthews
