SLED: Colleton man arrested on possession of stolen vehicle charges
SLED agents charged 22 year-old William Henry Stephens III with two counts of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and two counts of Obtaining Goods Under False Pretenses on Feb. 13.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— SLED agents charged 22 year-old William Henry Stephens III with two counts of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and two counts of Obtaining Goods Under False Pretenses on Feb. 13.
Authorities say Stephens used a cashier’s check to steal a 2013 Porsche Boxster and a 2015 Porsche 911 on two separate occasions.
Knowing that the vehicles were not his to sell, Stephens still sold them, according to arrest warrants.
Stephens was booked at the Florence County Detention Center.
