SC students can now carry sunscreen

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)—Students across the state can now carry sunscreen at school.

Governor Henry McMaster signed a bill last week making the change.

Previously, students were not allowed to carry sunscreen because it is regulated by the FDA like any other over-the-counter medication.

Experts say it’s the right call.
