Police: Woman Assaults Victims with Box Cutter at Library

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – An argument escalates into an assault at a local library. That’s according to Columbia Police. Lisa McRae is charged with two counts of assault and battery. Officers say she used a box cutter, or a similarly sharp object, to cut both victims in the face Tuesday night at the Main Branch of the Richland County Public Library. It’s located off Assembly Street. It’s believed McRae had the weapon in her pocket. Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
