Gameday: UGA First Of Tough 4-Game Stretch

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — 6th-ranked South Carolina’s focus is all on the no. 5 Georgia Bulldogs. But, this is just the first game of four in a brutal stretch for the Gamecocks. “It’s interesting, I was looking at our schedule, after five games, at this point, the next three teams are all undefeated,” said USC head coach Steve Spurrier. Carolina has UGA at home, but then is on the road two-straight weeks for back-to-back trips to no. 4 LSU and then no. 10 Florida. “I don’t think that’s ever happened around here, either,” said the Head Ball Coach. “Georgia, LSU and Florida are all undefeated right now. Obviously, LSU and Florida play this week so one of them is going to lose. But, we know we got a tough road ahead of us.” After, those two roadtrips, the Gamecocks return home for another division matchup with Tennessee. They have the week after off. Game time for USC and UGA is set for 7:00pm at Williams-Brice Stadium Saturday. ESPN will air the game.
