White House: Cocaine probe to conclude next week
COLUMBIA, S.C. (CNN)— The investigation into cocaine found at the White House is expected to wrap up early next week.
The bag of cocaine was found in a cubby near the ground floor entrance of the West Wing on Sunday.
Staff led tours on the weekends pass through that entrance and visitors are asked to leave their phones in those cubbies.
A federal law enforcement official says the Secret Service will finish its probe regardless if a suspect is identified.
Investigators are currently reviewing visitor logs and security footage as they wait for DNA and fingerprint analysis.
