Arrest made in Christmas day murder in Orangeburg County
Orangeburg County Sheriff's deputies have made an arrest in the murder of 38-year-old Loretta Brunch, who was killed on Christmas day
HOLLY HILL, S.C. (WOLO) — Orangeburg County Sheriff’s deputies have made an arrest in the murder of 38-year-old Loretta Brunch, who was killed on Christmas day.
Officials say they found Brunch’s body in some water about five miles south of Holly Hill, off Highway 453.
Brunch, a manager at a Holly Hill fast food restaurant, was last seen Christmas day.
Investigators believe she was shot to death.
45-year-old Harold Pratt is charged in her murder. Investigators say Pratt and Brunch got into some sort of argument shortly before she disappeared.
