Three Tigers Sent Home From Miami

Clemson sent three players home early from the Orange Bowl Tuesday after reportedly failing drug tests. According to multiple reports, wide receiver Deon Cain, backup kicker Ammon Lakip and backup tight end Jay Jay McCullough are suspended for Thursday’s College Football Playoff Semifinal game against Oklahoma in Miami.
Cain, a freshman, is Clemson’s second leading receiver this year with 34 catches for 582 yards and 5 touchdowns.
All three players had previously served suspensions this season.
