Woman found shot to death in Charleston home
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Authorities have released the name of a woman they say was shot in her Charleston home.
Officials said Monday the body of 59-year-old Patricia Walker was found Sunday night in the bedroom of her home in the city’s West Ashley area.
Police said the parents of the woman called police late Sunday afternoon and said they had not heard from her in several days and were worried.
The parents drove to Charleston from Columbia and met police outside the victim’s house. Officers went inside and found the woman’s body. Police say they think the woman knew her killer.
