USC Hoops Sets SEC Mark, Both Teams 13-0

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) — Tina Roy’s career-high 7 three-pointers and 21 points helped #2-ranked USC blow out Arkansas 85-32 Sunday afternoon at the Colonial Life Arena. The win in the SEC opener was the Gamecocks 41st straight at home. Carolina improved to 13-0 on the season, matching the USC men’s team. It’s the best combined start for a school in SEC history. The Tennessee men and women got off to a 25-0 start in 1997-98.
USC outscored Arkansas 64-16 after the game was tied at 9 going into the 2nd quarter. Five Gamecocks scored in double figures.
Carolina plays again Thursday at Vanderbilt.
