COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) _ An all-male gospel quartet and the full gospel choir from a West Columbia church are headlining the music festival being held in celebration of Monday’s Martin Luther King Day commemoration.
The Martin Luther King Jr. gospel festival takes place Saturday at the Koger Center in Columbia. It features the Brookland Baptist Church Gospel Choir. The Pastor Shawn Jones and the Believers gospel quartet from Alabama are also performing.
University of South Carolina graduate the Rev. Chris Leevy Johnson will make remarks.
