State police say they are investigating the death of a man shot during a confrontation with a Dillon County sheriff's deputy
DILLON, S.C. (AP) _ State police say they are investigating the death of a man shot during a confrontation with a Dillon County sheriff’s deputy.
The State Law Enforcement Division says in a news release that agents are continuing to look into the shooting that happened Wednesday. Agents say there is no video of the shooting.
Dillon County Sheriff’s Capt. Cliff Arnette tells local media that the shooting happened Wednesday afternoon at a home near Latta.
No other details have been released, including the names of the man who was shot and the deputy involved.
