Health Care Deadline Approaches

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Time is running out to sign up for health coverage for 2016.

Only a few days remain before the final January 31 deadline to enroll at healthcare.gov.   Coverage purchased by Sunday will take effect March 1.

Lourie Consulting is partnering with the South Carolina Hospital Association, Palmetto Health and the Palmetto Project for free enrollment events at the following locations:

Saturday, Jan. 30:

Drew Wellness Center (10a.m.-2p.m.): 2101 Walker Solomon Way, Columbia

Sunday, Jan. 31

Brookland Baptist Church (12p.m.-12a.m): 1066 Sunset Blvd., West Columbia
