Spurrier: “We All Know Marcus Needs To Run The Ball More”

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Steve Spurrier knows if the no. 13 Gamecocks are going to win the rest of their games, USC will need to get Marcus Lattimore more involved. “We all know Marcus needs to run the ball more,” said Spurrier at Tuesday’s press conference. “We’re going to try our best to get it to him some more.” Last week against Florida, Lattimore carried the ball just three times for a total of 13 yards. In South Carolina’s six wins this season, Lattimore carried the ball an average of just over 19 times per game for an average of 91.5 total yards.
