WATCH: Rubio Gets Endorsement from SC Senator Tim Scott

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — South Carolina Senator Tim Scott has thrown his support behind Republican presidential Marco Rubio.

Tuesday morning, Senator Scott endorsed the Florida senator for the Republican nomination for president.

A statement from Senator Scott says in part, “We have one shot in 2016 to beat Hillary Clinton and that shot is Marco Rubio, and with him as our candidate: we win.”

Rubio finished a close-third in last night’s Iowa Caucuses, 23 percent behind Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.
