Cause of Death Determined for Missing NC Teens

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – We now have a clearer picture of what happened to two missing North Carolina teens. The Kershaw County sheriff says Jake Ziegler and Ray Pierce died from drowning. Their car was pulled from a river along Interstate 20 Sunday night. Ziegler and Pierce disappeared two weeks ago after leaving for Myrtle Beach. The accident remains under investigation.
